Mumma's (Reta's) Famous Red Velvet Cake

Mix together in order
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2/ cups sugar
2 teaspoons cocoa
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 cups Wesson oil
2 oz red food coloring
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons white vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla.

Bake in 3 -8 inch round pans that are well greased and floured.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Cool the cake layers before frosting

Frosting

1 lb powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese
1 cube soften butter (not melted)
pecans.
Mix pecans in the frosting but save some to sprinkle on top.
Frost all layers including in between the layers.

Sweet and Sour Baked Beans

2 Cans of Pork and Beans 15 ounce cans
1 Can of Pineapple Tidbits 15 ounce can drained
1 pound Bacon cooked and crumbled
1 large Onion finely chopped
2 Cups Ketchup
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Tbl Worcester Sauce

Bake for 2 hours at 300* degrees
