Crock Pot Hungarian Goulash

Put in crock pot
1lb Stew Meat
1 sliced Onion
2 Tbs Worchester Sauce
1 Tbs Brown Sugar
2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Paprika
½ tsp dry Mustard
1 C Water
½ C Ketchup
2 minced Garlic Cloves
Turn heat to high
to thicken the stew use ¼ C Flour and 2 Tbs cold water, heated for 5 min. then add heated mixture to the stew.
Cook all day 9-10 hours
Serve over cooked noodles or steamed rice

Crock Pot Mexican Meat

Combine in crock pot:
4 boneless Chicken Breasts
1 chopped Onion
16 oz of Salsa or Tomatoes and Diced Chiles
8 oz Tomato Sauce
8 oz Water
Cook all day long in the crock pot on low
Serve as filling on flour tortillas or serve over steamed rice

Crock Pot Taco Soup

Sauté and Drain
1 lb Hamburger
½ Onion
Put in Slow Cooker for 1 hour on high:
The meat and onion
½ C Ketchup
1 quart Tomatoes or Tomato Juice
1 Tbs Taco Seasoning
1 Can Corn
2 Cans Red Pinto Beans
Serve over:
Tortilla Chips and sprinkle with Mozzarella Cheese

Company's Casserole

Brown:
1 lb ground Hamburger
Add:
1 chopped medium Onion
1 chopped Bell Pepper
½ C chopped Celery
Add:
2/3 C White Rice (uncooked)
½ C Water
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 small Can Mushrooms
1 small Can Pimentos
Place all ingredients into a greased casserole dish
Sprinkle top with:
1 C grated Cheese
Bake at 350* for 1 hour

Hamburger Noodle Casserole

2 C cooked noodles (any choice of noodles)
Brown:
1 lb ground Hamburger
1 finely chopped Onion
1 finely chopped Bell Pepper
Add:
1 Can Tomato Soup
3 Tbs Brown Sugar
1 Tbs Prepared Mustard
Place all ingredients into a greased casserole dish
Sprinkle top with:
1 ½ C grated Cheese
Bake at 350* for 15 min.

Spaghetti

Cook long spaghetti and pour sauce over.

Brown:
2 Onions
1 green Pepper
1 lb grounded Hamburger
Mix Together:
1 quart Tomatoes
1 can cream of Mushroom Soup
1 small can of sliced Mushrooms
Simmer 30 min.
Then Add:
2 Tbs Worchester Sauce
2 Tbs grated Cheese
½ tsp. Chili Powder
Blend the two mixtures and pour over spaghetti noodles and serve.

Ham and Noodle Casserole

Sauté:
1 large diced Onion
½ Green Pepper
2 C diced Ham
Mix in:
1 can of cream of Mushroom Soup
1 can of cream of Celery Soup
1 ½ C Water
Cook 12 Oz. Package of Egg Noodles
Mix all together, put in casserole dish and top with crushed corn flake crumbs and sprinkle with Parsley flakes.
Then bake at 450* for 20 min.

Substitute Ingredients

Most of grandma's recipes call for shortening or butter. For most of the cake recipes and some of the cookie recipes, you can use applesauce in place of the shortening and butter. Also for a gluten free recipe use rice flour instead of all purpose white flour. And if you want more wheat in your diet use wheat flour.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Mix:
2 C Sugar
¼ C Shortening
4 Eggs
1 C sour Milk
4 ½ C Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 pkg. Chocolate Chips or 2 C
¼ tsp. Vanilla
Mix well
Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375* for 12 min.

DELICIOUS CAKE FROM OLD FRUIT

Combine and sift:
2 C Flour
½ tsp. Salt
½ C Brown Sugar
½ C granulated Sugar
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 tsp. Cinnamon
¼ tsp. Cloves
Beat together and add to flour:
2 Eggs
1 C Oil
2 C drained Fruit
Beat until smooth:
Add:
½ C Nuts and/or ½ C Raisins
Bake at 350* for 30 min. Pour batter into greased and floured bread pans.

COOKIES FROM A CAKE MIX

1 cake Mix any flavor
2 Eggs
½ C Vegetable Oil
2 Tbs Water
1 Cup Chocolate Chips
Mix well and drop onto greased cookie sheet and Bake at 350* for 10-12 min.

APPLESAUCE COOKIES

Cream: 1 C Shortening
2 C Sugar
2 Eggs
2 C Applesauce Mix well.
Add:
4 C Flour
2 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg
½ tsp. Cloves
Add nuts and raisins
Drop scoops onto greased cookie sheet and Bake at 350* for 5 min.

BEST EVER BUTTER COOKIES

1 C (2 sticks) Butter room temp
½ C Sugar
½ tsp. Salt
1 large egg Yolk
2 ¼ C Flour
Cream the first 4 ingredients and gradually add the flour. Mix well into a dough ball.
Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate 1 hour.
Roll out on lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes.
Decorate with sprinkles.
Bake for 12-15 min. at 350*

SUGAR COOKIES

Mix and blend
1 C Margarine
1 C Sugar
Add and stir:
3 Eggs
Add:
3 ½ C Flour
3 tsp. Baking Powder
2 tsp Vanilla
Drop of lemon extract.
Mix well into dough ball and then roll out and cut into shapes using cutters.
Bake 350* for 8 min. Dough will keep in fridge for 5 days.
When cooled frost with butter cream icing, Mix well:
¾ C Margarine
4 C Powdered Sugar
¼ C evaporated Milk
1 tsp (color) food coloring drops

CHRISTMAS COOKIE DOUGH

1 C Butter
1 C Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 C Flour
½ tsp. Salt
Cream butter an sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift in flour and salt. Blend well to make a stiff dough. Chill 2-3 hours. Then roll out and cut into shapes with cookie cutters. Bake 400* for 8 min.

HAMBURGER BBQ

2 pounds of ground beef
4 Tbs Brown Sugar
1 Can Tomato Sauce
½ C Ketchup
1 Tbs Mustard
1 tsp. Worcester Sauce
1 tsp. Vinegar
Brown meat and then add other ingredients. Cook in skillet for 10 min. at 375*

SOUR CREAM COOKIES

Cream together:
½ C Shortening
1 ½ C. Sugar
2 Eggs
Stir in:
1C Sour Cream
½ tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla
Sifr and add:
2 ¾ C Flour
½ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Baking Powder
Variations: Add:
1 C shredded coconut, 2 suares melted baking chocolate, 1 C nuts
Drop on cookie sheet bake at 350* for 8-10 min.

FUDGE CAKE

2/3 C Butter
1 1/3 C Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 ounce Unsweetened Chocolate melted
2 ½ C sifted Flour
1 ¼ tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Salt
1 ¼ C cold Water
Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in cooled chocolate. Sift together the flour, salt, and soda. Add to creamed mixture, alternating the cold water. Bake at 350* for 30 min. in a 9x12 pan.

BOILED APPLESAUCE CAKE

Combine in a pan and bring to boil for 10 min:
2 C Applesauce
2 C Sugar
1 C cold Water
1 C Shortening
½ C Raisins
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Cloves
Remove from heat and cool
Measure and sift:
4 C Flour
1 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Baking Soda
Add this flour mixture to cooled mixture. Add 1 C Nuts. Bake in dripper pan or loaf tins for 1 hour at 350*.

CARROT CAKE

3 C grated Carrots
2 C Sugar
4 Eggs
1 C Wesson Oil
2 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Cinnamon
2 C Flour
1/3 tsp. Salt
Mix sugar, Wesson oil and eggs beat well. Add carrots and dry ingredients.
Bake 350* for 35 min. Pour into greased cake pan.
When cake is cooled frost.
Frosting:
2 ½ C Powdered Sugar
½ square Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 oz pkg. Cream Cheese
2-3 tsp. Cream
¼ tsp. Salt

100 COOKIES RECIPE

2 C butter
2 C Sugar
2 C Brown Sugar
Add 4 Eggs and 2 tsp. Vanilla
Mix together with:
4 C Flour
5 Cups Oatmeal
1 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Baking Powder
2 tsp. Baking Soda
Add 3 cups of Nuts and 24 oz pack of Chocolate Chips and a grated 8 oz chocolate bar.
Bake at 350* for 10-12 min. drop onto greased cookie sheet.

LAZY DAY COBBLER

In 9x12 casserole dish melt 1 stick of Butter
In another bowl mix:
1 C Flour
1 ¼ tsp. Baking Powder
1 C Sugar
1 C Fruit Juice
Pour these ingredients over the butter and then pour in 1 bottle of fruit on the top.
Bake at 350* for 1 ½ hours.

NUT LOAF CAKE

2 Eggs
1 C Sugar
1 C Oil
2 C Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 C Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 ½ tsp. Cinnamon
1 C Nuts
Bake in greased bread pan 375* for 1 hour
Then add Carmel Icing: Boil 1 min. and cool
½ square Butter
¼ C Milk
½ C Brown Sugar
Sprinkle Powdered Sugar

CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW COOKIES

Mix together:
½ C Shortening
1 C Sugar
½ C Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
Mix together:
1 2/3 C Flour
½ tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Salt
½ C Cocoa
Mix both together and drop on cookie greased sheet: Bake 350* for 6 mins.
Take out, push three miniature marshmallow down in the middle of the cookie. Let them cool and then frost with:
¾ C Margarine
3 Tbs Cocoa
2 Tbs Karo Syrup
2 C Powdered Sgar
1 tsp Vanilla
1 to 3 Tbs Milk

BROWNIES

1 C melted Margarine
2 C Sugar
1/3 C Coco
4 Eggs
2 C Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 C chopped Walnuts
Mix with hand mixer until all together. Pour in greased 9x13 pan.
Bake at 375* for 25-30 mins.

PUMPKIN COOKIES

Cream together:
1/2 C Shortening
1 1/2 C Brown Sugar
1/2 C Sugar
2 beaten Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 1/2 C canned Pumpkin
Sift together:
2 1/2 C Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
3/4 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Ginger

Add all ingredients alternating the flour mixture. May add 1/2 C Chocolate Chips if wanted.
Drop teaspoon size dough on greased cookie sheet
Bake 350* for 10-12 mins.

JAM COOKIES

1/2 C Sugar
1/2 C Shortening
1/2 C Jam or Jelly
1 Egg
1/2 C Sour Milk
2 C Flour
1 1/2 C Quick Oats
1 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla

Cream sugar, shortening, add egg and jam. Put soda in milk add to sugar mixture. Add flour and oats.
1/2 C Chocolate chips and/or nuts may be added.
Drop teaspoon size dough on greased cookie sheet
Bake 350* for 10-12 mins.

OATMEAL COOKIES

Cook and cool for 3 min.
1 C Plump Raisins
1/2 C Water

Cream:
3/4 C Butter
1 C Sugar
add and mix:
2 Eggs
add:
1 Tbs Vanilla
1/2 C slivered Almonds
Mix together:
2 C Flour
1/2 C Oatmeal
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
Mix all ingredients together:
Drop teaspoon size dough on greased cookie sheet

PICNIC CAKE

In small bowl mix and let sit until cool.
1 C chopped Dates
1 ½ C boiling Water
1 tsp. Soda
Combine 2 C Flour
1 C Sugar
2 Eggs
¾ C Shortening or 1 cube Butter
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Vanilla
Add date mixture and pour in greased pan.
Bake at 350* for 40 mins.

OATMEAL CAKE

1 ¼ C boiling Water
1 C Quaker Oats
½ C Butter
1 C Sugar
1 C Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 ½ C Flour
1 tsp. Soda
½ tsp. Salt
¾ tsp. Cinnamon
¼ tsp. Nutmeg
Pour boiling water over oats. Let stand 20 minutes. Beat butter until creamy, add sugar and beat.
Blend in vanilla and eggs, add Oats mixtures. Sift flour and seasonings and add to creamed mixture. Do not remove from cake pan. Bake 350* for 45 mins.

1 1/2 C Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 C Shortening or 1 cube of Butter
3/4 C Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Hot Water
1 C Nuts
1 C Chocolate Chips
2 C Quick Oatmeal
1 tsp. Vanilla

Mix all ingredients and pour onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 min. at 375*

SHEET PAN COOKIES

2 C Brown Sugar
3 C Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Baking Powder
2 beaten Eggs
1 C Salad Oil or 1 cube of Butter
1/2 tsp. Salt
Dissolve:
1 tsp. Soda in
1 C hot Water

Mix all together, beat add 1 C chocolate chips or raisins. Bake on greased cookie sheet.
Ice with 1 1/2 C Powdered Sugar and 4 Tbs of Hot Water.
Bake 375* for 15 min.

ORANGE JULIUS

Put in a blender:
1- 6 ounce can Frozen Orange Juice
1 ¼ C Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
1/3 C Sugar
1 ¼ C Water
Put ice cubes in the blender to make 4 cups
Blend until smooth

FRUIT SLUSH

Boil for 3 min.
6 C Water
4 C Sugar

Cool then add: Freeze
4-6 ounce Pineapple Juice
6 crushed Bananas
6 ounce frozen Orange Juice
2 Lemons Juiced
Remove from freezer ½ hour before serving
Serve 7-Up

HOT CAKES

2 C sifted Flour
2 tsp. Salt
2 Eggs
6 Tbs Oil
5 tsp. Baking Powder
3 Tbs Sugar
2 C Milk

Sift dry ingredients. Beat eggs. Add milk, oil and flour, stir until blended.
May substitute: 2 ¼ C sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 Tbs Baking Powder
Cook on griddle

BAKING POWDER BISCUITS

Mix Together:
1 1/3 C Flour
1 ½ tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Sugar
Add:
¼ C Vegetable Oil
½ C Milk
Stir into a soft ball and then roll out with a rolling pin. Cut with round cookie cutter. Bake on greased pan at 450* for 20 min. or browned

ZUCCHINI BREAD

3 beaten Eggs
1 C Vegetable Oil
2 C Sugar
3 C Flour
1 tsp. Salt
3 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
Mix together all ingredients.
Add 1 tsp Vanilla and ½ C nuts.
2 C peeled and grated Zucchini.
Pour into 2 large greased and floured baking tins.
Bake at 350* for 60-70 min.
Makes 2 large loaves

BANANA BREAD

2 large mashed Bananas
½ C Shortening or 1 cube butter
1 C Sugar
2 Eggs
Mix and add:
2 C Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 C Nuts
Pour into 1 large greased and floured baking tin.
Bake at 325* for 60 min.
Makes 1 large loaves

APPLESAUCE OATMEAL MUFFINS

Stir together:
1 ½ C Oatmeal
1 ¼ C Flour
½ C Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
¾ tsp. Baking Soda
¼ tsp. Salt
Add and don’t over stir:
1 C Applesauce
¼ C Oil
2 Egg Whites
1 tsp. Vanilla
Add:
½ C Raisins
½ C Nuts
Fill greased muffin tins ¾ full put topping on 1 tsp. per muffin:
The topping includes:
½ C Brown Sugar
¼ C Butter
½ C chopped Nuts
½ C Coconut
1 tsp. Vanilla
Bake at 350* for 15 mins.

CORN BREAD

Mix:
2 beaten Eggs
1 C Milk
1 C Butter
Mix dry ingredients together and add to egg mixture.
2 C Bisquick
½ C yellow Cornmeal
½ C Sugar
½ tsp. Baking Powder
Bake in greased 8x8 pan at 350* for 30 mins.

MUFFINS

1 Egg
½ C Milk
¼ C Oil
1 ½ C Flour
½ C Sugar
2 tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Salt
Beat egg with fork. Stir in milk and oil, blend in all dry ingredients. Just until moistened. Batter should be lumpy. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.
Bake at 400* for 18-20 mins.
Very good with jam or jelly.

POPOVERS

2 Eggs
1 C Milk
½ tsp Salt
1 C Flour

Beat eggs slightly, add milk, flour and salt. Beat together with rotary beater just until smooth.
Grease muffins tins, fill ¾ full. Bake at 425* for 30-40 mins. Remove from cups immediately. Makes 8-10 popovers.

PUMPKIN BREAD

4 ½ C Sugar
1 ½ C Vegetable Oil
6 Eggs
1 C Water
3 C canned Pumpkin
1 ½ tsp. Cloves, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice
5 ¼ C Flour
¾ tsp. Baking Powder
3 tsp. Salt
3 tsp. Baking Soda
1 ½ C Nuts
Bake in greased bread tins for 1 hour at 350*
Makes up to 4 loaves.

YE OLD FRUIT CAKE

1 Quart bottled Fruit, (any kind of fruit) mixed in blender then pour into large mixing bowl and add:
4 tsp. Soda
2 C Sugar
1 C Oil
4 C Flour
1 tsp. Salt
4 tsp. Cinnomon
1 tsp. Cloves
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 C Raisins or Dates
½ C Nuts
Bake in greased cake pan, at 350* for 20 mins.

BRAN MUFFINS

Combine:
1 C Boiling Water
2 ¼ tsp Baking Powder
½ C Shortening or cube of Butter
1 C Sugar
Cool after mixing and stir in:
2 C Milk or Buttermilk
2 Eggs
2 ½ C Flour
½ tsp. Salt
2 C All Bran
1 C Bran Flakes crushed
Can add:
1 C chopped Nuts or Dates
Stir gently, but thoroughly, don’t stir again. Store in refrigerator in an air tight container. Use as needed. Will keep for 6 weeks.
Bake in greased muffin tins at 350* for 30 mins.

CHRISTMAS CHEESE BALL

2 8-ounce pks. Softened Cream Cheese
¼ C chopped Onion
½ C chopped Green Peppers
½ C diced Pimentos
1 14-ounce can cut-up Black Olives
1 C slivered Almonds
Chopped Pecans
Mix all ingredients except pecans, together and roll into a ball. Roll ball in the chopped Pecans. Serve with assorted crackers.

EXCELLENT WASSAIL

Boil:
2 ½ C Sugar
4 C Water
Add 10 whole Cloves
2 sticks of Cinnamon
Small piece of Ginger Root
Simmer for 1 hour
Add:
1 can Lemonade
1 can Orange Juice
6 cans Water
1 gallon Apple Cider
Serve Hot

OVERNIGHT WASSILL

Boil Together: Leave Overnight
4 C Water
1 C Brown Sugar
Put in Bag: Leave Overnight
5 tsp. whole Cloves
5 sticks Cinnamon
Just before Serving Add:
8 C Cider
1 large can concentrated Orange Juice
1 small can concentrated Lemonade
1 tsp. Salt

GRAPE FRIZZ

1 Quart Grape Juice
1 can Pineapple Juice
1 12 ounce bottle of 7-up
Mix chilled juices add 7-up just before serving.

HOMEMADE SYRUP

4 C Sugar
½ C Brown Sugar
2 C Water
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Maple
Combine sugar and water, bring to boil for 10 min. Remove and cool slightly. Add vanilla and maple. Stir only until mixed. Syrup will thicken as it cools.

BANANA SHAKES

2 sliced Bananas
2 C Skim Milk
2 C nonfat Vanilla Yogurt
1 C Pineapple Juice
1 Tbs Honey
Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.

Santa Clause Punch

2 pks. unsweetened Kool-Aid powder
1 C Sugar
4 C Cranberry Juice Cocktail
12 C crushed Ice and Water
Combine Kool-Aid powder with sugar, then add cranberry juice and stir until dissolved. Mix in crushed ice and water.

INSTANT WASSAIL

Combine:
2 C powdered Tang
¾ C powdered Lemonade
2 C Sugar
1 ½ tsp. Cinnamon
¾ tsp. ground Cloves
Add:
1 level tablespoon of mix to 1 teacup of hot water. Stir to dissolve. Makes 5 cups of mix or 80 teacups of Wassail.

BASIC BREAD RECIPE

1 Quart warm Water
1 Tbs Yeast
2/3 C Sugar
2/3 C Shortening
1 Tbs Salt
Mix the above ingredients together by hand or in a bread machine, then add the following ingredients
1 C Potato Flakes
5 C Flour
Let rise and split in half to make two loaves. Put in greased bread pan and let rise. Bake at 350* for 25 min.

HOT CHOCOLATE MIX

16 oz Coffee Mate or Dry Cream
14 oz Powdered Instant Milk
16 oz Hershey Quick Chocolate Mix
14 oz Powered Sugar

Stir all together. Store in air tight container.
To use stir in 4 Tbs of mixture into hot milk or water. Can add marshmallows.

(makes 2 Gallon of dry mix)

TRADERS PUNCH

Combine all ingredients in a punch bowl.
16 oz can frozen Lemonade
16 oz can frozen Orange Juice
2/3 C Pomegranate Syrup
Mix in 5 C cold Water
before serving add 1 quart Ginger ale

AUNT LYNDA'S FRENCH BREAD

2 Tbs Yeast
1 C warm Water
2 Tbs Sugar

Mix these three ingredients together first and set aside for 10-15 mins.

4 C warm Water
6 Tbs Canola Oil
2 Tbs Salt
4 Tbs Sugar
10-12 C Flour

Knead all ingredients. Cut in half and stretch length wise. Place on sprayed cookie sheet. Let rise then bake for 375* for 20 mins. Makes 2 loaves.

CINNAMON BUNS

1 Tbs Yeast
2 Tbs warm Water
1/2 C Sugar
3 C Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
3 C Milk

Dissolve yeast in water, combine sugar, flour, salt and milk. knead together and let rise. Then add the remaining ingredients:

1/2 C melted Butter
3 beaten Eggs
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
3 1/2 C Flour

Let rise again and punch down. Can be refrigerated. Roll out dough with rolling pin and pour 1/4 C sugar, 2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 C raisins. Roll dough and cut into the sizes of rolls that you desire. Place on sprayed cookie sheet. Let rise again and then Bake at 400* for 10-12 mins.

BAKED PITA CHIPS

4 Pita Breads
Cut around outside edges of pita breads to separate layers. Cub each layer into 8 wedges. Place in single layer on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown. 400* for about 9 mins.

SOUR CREAM DRESSING

1 C Sour Cream
1 Tbs Mayonaise
1/4 Tobasco

Combine and refriderate. Very good on fruit salads.

TOMATO FRENCH DRESSING

2 Tbs Sugar
2 tsp. dry Mustard
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1 can undiluted Tomato Soup
1/2 C Vinegar
1/2 C Salad Oil
2 Tbs Minced Onion

Combine dry ingredients in a quart jar. Add remaining ingredients, cover jar with lid and shake thoroughly. Makes 2-3 Cups of dressing

MOM'S BEST SALAD DRESSING

2 C Sugar
1 C Vinegar
1 C Water
1/4 C Salad Oil
1 tsp. perpared Mustard
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/4 tsp Celery Salt
1/4 tsp Garlic Salt
1/4 tsp Paprika

Pour all ingredients into a quart jar, with a lid and shake thoroughly til mixed.

GERMAN PANCAKES

6 eggs
1 C milk
1C sifted Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
5 Tbs. Butter

Whip eggs, add milk, flour and salt.
Heat Butter in a 9x13 pan. Pour batter over melted butter and bake at 450* for 20 min.
