New England Boiled Dinner

4 Lbs Corned Beef
6 Carrots quartered
2 diced Turnips
8 small chopped Onions
6 quartered Potatoes
1 head of Cabbage wedged

Cover meat with cold water, bring to boil. Simmer for 4 hours, remove from heat. Add to stock carrots, turnips, and onions. Cook for 15 mins.
Add potatoes and cook 15 mins. Add cabbage cook for another 20 mins.
Add meat cut into pieces, heat and serve.

Crock Pot Roast

1 med Roast
Place in crockpot
Mix: and pour over Roast
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
2 Tbs Worcester Sauce
1 package Onion Soup Mix
1 tsp. Seasoning Salt
dash of Salt and Pepper
1 fresh minced garlic clove

Cook on high for the first 2 hours and then turn on low for 4 hours.

Crock Pot Meat

3 lbs chopped Beef (any kind)
2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Ginger
1/4 C Soy Sauce
1 C Cream of Tomato Soup
4 med red Onions
Put all ingredients into the crockpot and mix.

Turn on high for 30 minuets then low for 6 hours.

Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

Cover round steak in flour and brown in pan with a bit of oil.
Place all in slow cooker
Combine:
1 quart of tomatoes
1 C chopped Onions
1 Can Tomato Sauce
1 Clove Minced Garlic
1 tsp Sugar, Salt and Pepper
1/2 C Cold Water

Cook for 5-6 hours

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

Combine:
6 sliced Potatoes
1 chopped Onion
1 C shredded Cheese
1 C chopped Ham
Stir Together:
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 Can Water
pour over potatoes and cook until tender (about 4 hours)

Crock Pot Chicken

Brown 1 1/2 lbs Chicken
Put in crockpot and add:
1 pkg ranch style or Italian Salad Dressing Mix
Add 1 can Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Chicken Soup

Can add finely chopped potatoes
and/or finely chopped cream cheese
Cook on high for 4 hours

Crock Pot Hungarian Goulash

Put in crock pot
1lb Stew Meat
1 sliced Onion
2 Tbs Worchester Sauce
1 Tbs Brown Sugar
2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Paprika
½ tsp dry Mustard
1 C Water
½ C Ketchup
2 minced Garlic Cloves
Turn heat to high
to thicken the stew use ¼ C Flour and 2 Tbs cold water, heated for 5 min. then add heated mixture to the stew.
Cook all day 9-10 hours
Serve over cooked noodles or steamed rice

Crock Pot Mexican Meat

Combine in crock pot:
4 boneless Chicken Breasts
1 chopped Onion
16 oz of Salsa or Tomatoes and Diced Chiles
8 oz Tomato Sauce
8 oz Water
Cook all day long in the crock pot on low
Serve as filling on flour tortillas or serve over steamed rice

Crock Pot Taco Soup

Sauté and Drain
1 lb Hamburger
½ Onion
Put in Slow Cooker for 1 hour on high:
The meat and onion
½ C Ketchup
1 quart Tomatoes or Tomato Juice
1 Tbs Taco Seasoning
1 Can Corn
2 Cans Red Pinto Beans
Serve over:
Tortilla Chips and sprinkle with Mozzarella Cheese

CROCK POT COOKING: Simple Stew

Brown 2 pounds Stew Meat
Add:
2 Chopped Onions
4 Grated and chopped Carrots
2 Chopped Peppers
3 Stalks of Chopped Celery
3 Peeled and cubed Potatoes
2 Cans Stewed Tomatoes
1 small can Mushrooms or 2 fresh chopped Mushrooms
1 Tbs. Tapioca
1 Tbs. Sugar
3 Cloves Garlic Minced
Parsley
1 1/2 tsp. Butcher Bouquet Sauce
1 tsp. Basil
1 tsp. Worcester Sauce
Dash of Ketchup

Cook for 6-8 hours
